Your chairs, their schedules, and their logins.
Add a barber
- 1Open Barbers and choose Add barber (or 'Add myself' to link your own chair).
- 2Enter their name and photo.
- 3Pick the services they offer.
- 4Set their weekly schedule.
- 5Optionally add their email to send them a login invite.
A login is a barber's own account, keyed to their email. It is required for them to receive reviews.
Barber logins
A barber login is their own account, identified by email. If a barber already has an account (for example from another shop that uses barber.rsvp), inviting them links that same identity, so their history and reviews follow them.
By default a barber sees their own appointments and can set their own hours only when you allow it. You control the rest in Barber Permissions.
Schedules and time off
- Weekly schedule: the hours each barber works
- Time off: block full days the barber is away
- Meal breaks: a daily break the booking grid respects
- Keep on the half hour: round a barber's slots to :00 and :30
In a one-chair shop the barber's weekly schedule is also the shop's opening hours, so you only set it once.
Barber profile and Tip Jar
Each barber has a photo and a calendar color that keeps their column easy to read. On Legion you can also add a Tip Jar: pick Venmo or Cash App and enter the barber's handle. A barber uses one method.
The Tip Jar is a Legion feature. It texts the client a tip link about halfway through their appointment.
